Well I was saying it isnt a long trilogy and its easy going. The Way of Shadows is fucking awesome, the second book in that series is pretty good. Then sadly the 3rd book comes along.... Dave enjoy the first 2 while you can.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Really just goes to show though, that there are no good standalone fantasy novels. that makes me sad. On holiday, I read: Sookie book no. 4 - i agree with steve and aoife: silly, trashy, yet satisfying... soon i will be invincible - really enjoyed it - agree with aoife, it's very entertaining, it kinda parodies certain comic book stereotypes quite well, while not itself being a parody. Walking Dead: finished up to end of book 13 now. This series is unfreakingbelievable. I have a hard time convincing people to read zombie fiction, since people all know i'm obsessed with it - but i really only do recommend the best to people - and Walking Dead is definitely that. Read the graphic novels, watch the 6 episode first season, and then stay tuned for the 2nd season in Autumn. Seriously. this is an advertisement!!!

I think they're ones I was recommended before too, and if they are they're supposed to be damn good! I'm re reading the Old Kingdom Trilogy at the minute. Such brilliant characters in it

Read 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' today and it was short and good. Also should be finished the Twilight project by the end of the week.

Tell me about it! Still, I like having a long book that I can just read a chapter or two of before bed. Especially if it's good, takes ages to finish.

That's what I've been doing with A Song of Ice and Fire, towards the end of those books though I tend to plow through to the finish
