It is absolute win.
Much unlike the film. Which I have not seen, but which is apparently the opposite of win. Lose.

I might read them again once I've finished my exams. Although I know it's only going to remind me of the void in my existence that is that wonderful Knife. Oh how I wish I possessed thee!!

for sure! it totally sounds like an epic tier item for just the right kind of D&D campaign.

His Dark Materials is all kinds of right good.

I prefer the adult versions, The Amber Shot glass and the Subtle niche.
Also I am reading Nation. Mainly because I saw a man in town who looked loads like Pratchett.

Is it the first time you've read Nation? I really liked it!

I'm all kinds of excited for the Good Omens movie, and the Watch series... That gives me a good omen - I should read Good Omens again.

I read a really bad book yesterday. Ick.
Luckily, it was short. (It was The Beautiful Dead)

The Watch series looks promising. It's already been hinted that some of the last few books have been partially ghost written (he says he dictates, but nobody dictates the same way they write, there must be editorial supervision), so to a certain extent I trust quality writers to handle the material well.

That's a good point actually. Yeah, I suppose I trust them too. I think Going Postal was pretty awesome, anyway. So I'm hopeful. =D
