Also, if the police do anything like what they did over here after the stanley cup riots, anyone that posted something online is fucked. They basically trawled through facebook accounts and youtube videos until they named a few of the harder rioters.

I'm not condoning rioting like this at all, but I will say: if you're going to do it, don't fucking post updates online about it. How thick can you get??

Make no mistake about it, the rioters are scum. What's happening is in no way related to the causal factors anymore (the shooting of a Tottenham resident by Police with a real bullet fitted to a gun that was only meant to take rubber bullets). Which is a tragedy, because we're now seeing a very V for Vendetta style thing playing out, where the conservative government will take credit for putting down all the nasty protestors, and people will praise the police, and nobody will realize that it was some scumbag cop who started it all.
