Today is the 10th Anniversary of the death of Douglas Adams. One of my favourite authors, a true legend. I think I'm going to read Hitchhiker's Guide again.

Dirk Gently is better. Apparently. I finished The Subtle Knife last night, but I don't have The Amber Spyglass! Oh noes! Hope I find it in town today.

I'm going to start reading The Name of the Wind again. I've forgotten the story so it'll be like reading it for the first time again. Then I'll get the sequel which I saw in Easons a couple days ago.

I decided I need something new to read after 'The Amber Spyglass' because I don't want to just keep re-reading old stuff over and over.
I walked into Hughes & Hughes today and picked up a fantasy novel solely based on its cover. Hopefully it won't be awful. It's 'The Way of the Shadows' by Brent Weeks.
In the event that it's not good, I'll probably be re-reading the uplifting combination of Plath's Journals, 'The Bell Jar' and 'Prozac Nation' to tide me over until I find some random other thing that catches my attention.
If worst comes to worst, I may re-read the Lord of the Rings, to see how the series holds up with me a decade after my first read.

^^ If you haven't read the Name of the Wind, it's a decent enough fantasy.

I'm currently on 'The Twilight Project'; where I read it and make notes about how it is bad. And sexist. And Mary-sue-ish.
